Frequently Asked Questions

How many women must I have on a mixed team, and can I play a reduced team if I don't have enough women each week?
All mixed teams need at least two women on the field at all times.
If you play with less players on a team you still need the minimum of two women on the field at all times.

Does my team automatically get 5 forfeit points if we get forfeited to?
No. If there are two forfeits the forfeited teams will play each other for win/loss points.
If we can't get a suitable match for your team then you receive 4 points for the forfeit and will receive an extra bonus point if you play a game amongst your team.

My team has a few people that can't make the game this week. Should I forfeit?
No, don't forfeit. Bring as many players as you have and we will arrange a game with as many people we can. Come down and have some fun.

How do I register a forfeit?
If your team needs to forfeit please phone 0403 957 065 to register your forfeit. This allows us to notify your opposition and arrange a suitable game for them.

Can I wear my footy boots during a game?
No. Only soft soled shoes are permitted in all Corporate Challenge games. Studded football boots or hard soled grass sport shoes are not permitted.
Soft dimpled grass sport shoes are permitted. Players must wear shoes.

Where can I leave my watch and jewellery for safe keeping while I play?
Leave all jewellery at the office. Player must not wear watches or jewellery while playing Corporate Challenge games.

Does our team need a uniform shirt?
No, but it does help if your team can all wear the same colour shirt. It also helps to promote your company when you wear corporate colours.

Are the games postponed due to bad weather?
Games can be postponed due to rain or extreme heat. But this is rare. The grounds are in good condition and Perth's rain comes from intermittent showers. Games are usually played on rainy days because there are usually plenty of fine breaks around lunchtime. If a game is postponed we will e-mail team contacts after 10:45am.
