Touch
Touch is a rugby based game where tackles are replaced with a touch by a defending player on the player with the ball.
Minimum force is used to effect a touch and no other contact is permitted between opposing players.
Attacking players can only pass the ball to a player behind them and must place the ball over the end line to score.
After a touch the defending team must retreat 5 metres from the touched player.
A send off rule will apply.
Teams for touch consist of 6 players with up to 4 reserves.
The event is open to mixed, male and female teams, with mixed teams having at least two females on the field at all times.
Trophies will be awarded to winning teams in each division.
